Biostar® 12: Sodium hypochlorite12% (NaOCl) is a compound used for water treatment. Also used on a large scale for surfaces sanitizing, Laundry bleaching, odor removal and to control bacterial, fungus and Algae in industrial water. Biostar® 12: Sodium Hypochlorite is a very powerful oxidant, this make it an efficient germicidal agent and bleacher and Cleaner, Sodium Hypochlorite 12% products are cleared by EPA and CDC for General purpose surfaces and laundry disinfection.

Recommended Use Directions

  • Always use freshly prepared diluents; Refer to CDC recommendations of use of Sodium Hypochlorite for various disinfection applications. it is recommended to use 300-500 ppm to disinfect the floors, 1000 ppm for critical areas. for waste water with high organic contents (farms and Slaughter houses) use our blend of surfactants to clean first then apply Biostar® 12 for disinfection.
  • For use of Biostar® 12 as Bleacher, read textile recommendations.
  • Biostar® 12 at its diluted form, is compatible with ceramic and marble floors, stainless steel surfaces and laminated wood benches, for vinyl floors and all materials, it is advisable to evaluate individual materials compatibility before any prolonged use.

Safety

Use only proper quantity of Biostar® 12, store it out of children’s reach. Upon contact with a person’s eyes, it can cause irritation. The eyes should be flushed out with water for at least 15 minutes, and if the irritation continues or increases, seek medical help.

HDPE containers sealed caps, IBC 1000L and Bulk .

Storage Conditions

Store in a cool, dry and good ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed after opening. Prevent direct sun light or ignition sources.

Temperature Limit

Heat increases the degradation of Sodium Hypochlorite making it loosing the chlorine contents, best stored at 30°C shaded places.

Maximum Storage Period

24 Months under standard storage conditions, sodium Hypochlorite degrade with temperature.
