CMC 2170 Sodium Bisulfate O2 Scavenger Liq

Product description

CMC 2170 is a high performance liquid catalyzed oxygen scavenger designed to scavenge oxygen and hence inhibit oxidative pitting corrosion within steam boilers.

Application

  • CMC 2170 will efficiently scavenge oxygen and hence inhibit oxidative pitting corrosion within pressure up to 650 psi industrial boiler systems.
  • CMC 2170 is used to remove dissolved oxygen from boiler, closed loop, and other industrial waters. It is designed for use in many types steam or hot water boiler systems.

Great Value benefits

  • CMC 2170 High performance oxygen scavenger giving outstanding protection from oxygen corrosion.
  • CMC 2170 Excellent inhibition of oxidative pitting corrosion.
  • CMC 2170 Convenient liquid product.

Recommended Use Directions

CMC 2170 standard dose is 0.06 % – 0.1 % of feed water.
CMC 2170 must be dosed according to the analysis of feed water, and the planet condition the dosage is controlled proportionally to the concentration of dissolved oxygen present in the feed water.

Ex:
If you have feed water 10000 L and analysis of dissolve oxygen is 8 ppm use 2 liter from CMC 2170.
Approximately each 1 ppm dissolve oxygen needs 75 ml CMC 2170 per 1000 liters of feed water
