Recommended Use Directions

  • DURA CIDE 5971 The actual dosage of this product to control the pool will depend upon the algae or slime present. Normally, at the beginning of season, after the usual cleaning operations, addition of about one gallon of DURA CIDE 5971 for every 30,000 gallons of water will effectively control algae or slime growth. For subsequent treatment add about one quarter of a gallon for about 30,000 gallons of water. Repeat the treatment in every four days. If Algae growth is heavy, the dosage should be doubled. To sanitize runways, locker rooms and other areas surrounding swimming pool, apply a solution made of two ounce DURA CIDE 5971 with four gallons of water.

Safety

Use only a dime-sized amount of CMC 5971 Supervise children while using the product, store it away from their reach. Upon contact with a person’s eyes, it can cause irritation. The eyes should be flushed out with water for at least 15 minutes, and if the irritation continues or increases, seek medical help.
